Blue Ridge Youth Theater was created in 2009 to bring theater arts education, performance opportunities and entertainment to the youth of Page County and the Shenandoah Valley. In 2011, we incorporated and leased a space at 32B East Main Street, in Luray, Virginia. This new space, known as, the Trackside Theater, will be home to Blue Ridge Youth Theater, Inc.

Our goals are simple:

To bring quality entertainment to our community.

To continue provide quality theater arts education, both in performance and technical theater.

To foster creativity in an atmosphere of trust, where youth and adults can work together to bring plays and musicals to life! Where the current generation of theater artists can pass the torch to the next in a professional yet fun environment..

To have a theater space that is co-run by youth. When you come to see a show at The Trackside – whether it’s Winnie-the-Pooh or The Cherry Orchard – we hope that young person will be there at ever step: in the box office, taking tickets, ushering, running lights, stage managing, or performing onstage.
